DDJ 1000 - No display on jog wheels, controller is unresponsive

Today I turned on my DDJ 1000 to find it completely unresponsive. Upon powering on the little white loading bar with Firmware 1.07 displays, a few of the LEDs turn on, and the backlight for the jogwheels turns on but there's no display and remains blank.

Usually when I turn on the DDJ all the LEDs light up in a nice display of colors, that does not happen anymore. 

Rekordbox shows that it recognizes the DDJ 1000 is on, but otherwise the controller does not work. 

I've tried reinstalling the firmware, reinstalling audio drivers, updating windows, using a different computer, different USB cable, making sure the power cables are in properly. Nothing works. 

I've had this unit for 1 year and 2 weeks, which means my in-store warranty just expired and I'm very concerned the unit is bricked.
