DDJ-800 Pads

Using pad editor with the above and an RB-DMX1 when I select lighting in the setup as User 1 it gives me the option to configure 16 pads in a 4x4 grid. Does this mean the top eight are applied to the left hand deck and the lower eight to the right hand deck?

No - they're in pages. If you want the second set of 8, you'd need to switch to page 2.

Thanks Pulse, should have noticed that!

So I’ve set up the pads on the left hand deck to change effects and the pads on the right to change colours. Haven’t tried it with lights connected yet.

I presume that if I select the red pad then all connected lights will change to red until I make another selection?

Do the options remain stored when rekordbox is shut down?

Correct; the colour overrides apply to all lights until you disable that override or select another colour.

The pad settings do remain stored -- I never use key shift, so I have my custom DMX overrides sitting there.
