Hey Richard,
What controller are you using?
Which version of rekordbox?
Which OS is on your computer?
Thanks!
"Low" knob for channel 2 is adjusting the filter level. Filter knob not doing anything. On the software it shows i'm adjusting the Low EQ but it's actually adjusting the filter level. When adjusting the filter knob on the same channel, it does not adjust anything. I've played with the filter button on and off on the effect tabs in rekordbox. This issue seems to have started since the last update. I have not used it in a while but i do not remember this being an issue before.
What's wrong and how do I fix this?
Am i returning this?

thanks for the response!
Richard,
Have you tried resetting the MIDI? Open the MIDI panel, click the DEFAULTS button and see if it resets things.
Yeah, I did that and still have the same issue. Just tried it again and no luck :(
Try opening the MIDI panel and go to manually assign the filter knob to any function (doesn't matter which one)... what value does it say the knob is using? Repeat for the Low knob and see what value it reports - let me know what they are, I'll check against what they should be to see if it's a hardware problem with output. Thanks.
When I chose "learn" for the EQ low knob, it said the "MIDI code was already assigned. FX: CFX ParameterCH2 MIDI IN:B618"
we're getting somewhere?
where's the option to change the filter knob though?
When I activated "learn" for the Low EQ knob and then moved the channel 2 filter, nothing pops up to notify me that something is already assigned there. like it the knob isn't even registering. When I move filter knob for channel 1, the pop up comes telling me that it is already assigned to CFX ParameterCH1.
Sorry for another message. When I go to CFX Parameter CH2 and activate "learn" and then move the filter knob, nothing happens. When I move the ch 2 low EQ knob it says it's already assigned to "Mixer: EQ Low"
Which is funny because when I go to the tab that is Mixer: EQ Low, it then says it's assigned to CFX ParameterCh2.
Hey Richard, sorry for the delayed response - that tells me something is wrong with the hardware as the B618 signal is for the CH2 Filter (CFX) knob, and it shouldn't be transmitting that signal. I'll direct you to please contact a Pioneer DJ authorized service centre in your region to have your hardware inspected and/or repaired. If you're within 1 year of purchase, you're covered by warranty - be sure to include a copy of the receipt for warranty validation.
