ddj sx2 shooting volume up and down

hey my ddj sx2 is shoot volume up and down it has lost demo mode and when on service mode you can see there is activity that is going on have took the equipment to pioneer service center in my region but they are unable to fix it ..pioneer this problem is not new to ddj sx2 users how do you fix this issue please help coz that equipment is no longer helping me what could be the reason for that problem

Hey there,

Unfortunately it sounds like it's possibly a faulty fader or board causing the unit to register activity (hence not entering demo mode - it thinks it's in use).

Was the service centre one of our authorized service centres? They're able to diagnose and resolve most issues as well as reach out to our service team for assistance.

If they are authorized and are still unable to fix it, I wonder if they deemed the repair costs to be worth more than replacement? If it's beyond one year from date of purchase, it's outside of the warranty period, so you may want to inquire about the reason they were unable to fix it for you.

how much is that board and is it the one affecting audio output because volume is shooting up and down, faders were replaced

Sorry, what else were you waiting on? You should have the unit inspected / repaired; please contact one of our ASCs to have that done for you.

i took the unit they changed all channel 1 & 2 resistors and install new channel faders but the equipment is still shooting volume up and down, they told me they can't see any problem, so that means they can't assist me further, instead one of them is advising me to sale the equipment !!, i have nowhere else to go.

note. i took the equipment to your authorized service center

the issue was resolved by local technician, no faulty board master volume and gains were the problem, pioneer you should think twice about your service center in my region they are useless they failed to fix such a small issue making me to go extra cost.

Hey bro.....I have the same issue with my controller and a freind of mine also. Do you know what the Technician said in terms of the problem? Be real handy to know so I could rely this info to my local technician. Appreciate any feedback as these bursts are driving me crazy!
