I have the DDJ-SB3 and am using a MacBook Pro 2019 - operating system: macOS Catalina version 10.15.7. I downloaded Serato Lite, and know that the controller is connected to my MacBook/Serato Lite because I can manipulate tracks via the jog wheel and load songs to Serato. However, there is no audio output whatsoever. Not via my speakers, not via my headphones — nothing. The master volume is turned up, the speakers are on and working (I can hear static through them), but there is no sound output at all. I picked the DDJ as my sound output in my sound preferences as well. My MacBook doesn't have any USB-C ports, so I have to use a USB-C hub to connect the DDJ to my laptop. Any troubleshooting advice? I'd really like to utilize my DDJ-SB3 asap. Thanks in advance!
I think I know what the problem is:
I picked the DDJ as my sound output in my sound preferences as well.
Set the default back to the normal device to make the DDJ available for Serato.
