Hey Darryl,
Can you describe what you mean by "warbled"? Like it's changing speed as it plays?
Does this happen with just one song playing at 0% pitch?
I have a question about audio distortion using my DDJ-1000.
When I have my controller connected using rekordbox software (6.2.0) the audio playback is inconsistent; it sounds warbled when I'm playing tracks (in export or performance modes). I've checked all of the items listed in the FAQs and my computer meets all the requirements. I'm also on the latest firmware (1.0.7) & have the latest driver installed on my computer (1.100).
What do you think could be causing this problem?

Hi Pulse.
Yes it is as you've described it: when playing a song in a deck, it changes speed as it plays. The song "speeds" up while playing and also "slows" down; this happens when playing at 0% pitch or when I'm mixing tracks (using the tempo slider) or when using beat sync. The track plays abnormally. It sounds weird.
I have other Pioneer DJ controllers (older ones and also the DDJ 800 however these all play fine with updated drivers.
Can you confirm that these are analysed using the correct analysis method - normal for electronic songs with consistent tempo, or dynamic for songs with a live drummer (eg. disco / rock)?
Yes, I have electronic tracks (analysed with normal mode) and old school dance & disco tracks (analysed in dynamic mode).
Hi Pulse.
I'm wondering if I reinstalled the driver for my DDJ-1000 on the computer would it possibly help with this sound problem?
Are you able to post an example of this occurring? A video might help, perhaps if you also engage the metronome within rekordbox at the time.
Hi Pulse.
I found out the problem with reference to the warbled audio.
In the properties section of the sound playback device (Windows) the exclusive mode box was checked for giving exclusive mode apps priority. I un checked this and went back to test the audio playback in Rekordbox performance mode.
Problem solved.
Hey Darryl,
Thanks for reporting that back -- unusual that it would occur with only the DDJ-1000 but not others. I'll take note of this for future.
You're welcome Pulse.
I found that to be a bit weird myself (smile).
