Troll Lock

Thanks for the thread lock Pulse and treating me like some sort of troll when I'm just trying to advocate Pioneer a better Rekordbox to go with the hardware.

I might well be one of the people that doesn't have RB problems as yet, although I can't even get RB to work now because I didn't get any help on my last thread.

Anyway Pulse, sick of the updates taking so frickin long.

Mixvibes have no problems posting updates on their facebook page of new equipment etc,yet us Pioneer owners suffer with delayed RB updates. 

Rekordbox showed a lot of potential at the start but it still seems Pioneer/Mixvibes are draging the channel on a hassle free product.

@Musicchaos > Pioneer is working hard to get problems resolved and updates released.  Mixvibes has their own software.  While they are partnered with Pioneer for Rekordbox, the majority of the work is done in-house.  The delays are often due to testing and troubleshooting of the problem and sometimes they can't replicate the problem on their end so it's very difficult for them to diagnose the issue at hand, thus causing further delays.

If you were referring to this thread as your last one where you didn't receive help, I'm sorry - I simply missed that thread.  I do my very best to read every post made on the forums but there is so much traffic that there may be some that slip past, especially when I'm away traveling and return to an onslaught of new posts.  It could also be that I didn't post anything there because you left the thread with "I will look into the antivirus thing"... but then never posted back.  Non-response can sometimes be considered that you solved the problem.

As I noted in the locked thread, there are many users who aren't having problems with Rekordbox and it was not locked because I felt you were trolling, but rather that there would have been no constructive discussion coming forth from that topic.  I'm sorry if you felt it was unprofessional or unreasonable for me to lock that thread, but I am here to provide you with technical and customer service, so please allow me to help you out by replying to your other thread with the details from this thread.

Hi Pulse, in regards to my Rekordbox Link problem, it seems to have come right by itself, so no worry on that. Thank you.

I must admit that I was annoyed about your comment in my Crashes thread that many users don't have problems with Rekordbox.

It was by chance that I first found this Pioneer Forum years ago when I first had a problem with whichever DJ gear I bought - When the problem occurred I logged it with the Pioneer website. I was given a Pioneer reference number and was never replied to?!

Hence why I found this forum to aid in that problem.

So my thoughts are if consumers even had Rekordbox/CDJ Error problems etc, Pioneer would likely not acknowledge them as what happened to me.

I saw a lot of potential in Rekordbox to start with,  but find that it has not been realized fully yet. This forum is an excellent medium to address that.

There's some pretty clever people on this forum and their constructive product criticism is awesome for both  forum members and Pioneer as well.

Pioneer being the market leader/price dictator I believe Pioneer needs to be held more accountable with Product support, because honestly some of this top range equipment  does cost so much consumers need to feel like they are receiving adequate care and support.
