CDj 900

My CDJ 900's will not link with my computer, I'm using windows 8. the CDJ's work fine just not with Rekordbox. CDJ's have been updated with the latest version and  also my Rekordbox. Rekordbox plays fine on the computer. When I try I get an E-8302.

I Have read the guide, did everything it says and I still have issues. Question is there any way to get a step by step to solve this issue?

So when connecting the CDJ900 (one) directly to the ethernet port on your computer, ensuring that both the wireless and firewall are off / disabled (fully), does the icon appear at the bottom for link at all?

I appreciate you Pulse trying to help me resolve my issue. Yes I tried one CDJ directly to the Ethernet port with firewall and wireless off/disconnected. Yes the Link appears when I click on them I do see CDJ 1&2...When I try to drag and drop the track it has a (circle with a line through it) and the CDJ are not turning green as the do in windows 7. I do have an older computer with windows 7.... I can use an older version and the new version of reckordbox. I guess its like something is blocking the software. I have also allowed all files connected to reckordbox to be allowed through the firewall.

@Elliott > If you have disabled the firewall and connected the CDJ directly, and still get it blinking - there is likely a network communication problem. Are you using the Windows firewall or a 3rd party firewall (like Norton or McAfee)?

I believe I am using windows firewall...there could be a 3rd party firewall I do have (McAfee) on my computer...how can I disable the 3rd party?

Instructions for that vary from version to version, best to check with their support website or help within the application.
