How do I drop new samples over the OSC horn/siren etc? Cant see in manual

How do I drop new samples over the OSC horn/siren etc? Cant see in manual? Did a search in the PDF for "OSC" and couldnt find anything explaining how to do this. Thanks

Got an answer for you...

You can switch rekordbox OSC samplers in the same way as usual samples.

　1. Show sampler panel

　2. Click OSC Sampler button to show the OSC sampler.

　3. In the 4 OSC smapler slots, NOISE/SINEWAVE/SIREN/HORN are preset.

　  When you hover the slot you want to switch, the Eject button will appear.

      Please click the Eject button to empty the slot.

　4. Drag & Drop the sample you want to add to the empty slot.

When you want to return to the preset sample, find Sampler in the tree view and click the triangle before Sampler and click OSC SAMPLER > PRESET ONESHOT.

You can find the preset samplers there. Drag and drop them in the same way you did for other samples.

You can select either the OSC sampler in DDJ-RZ or rekordbox dj.

If you want to use rekordbox OSC sampler, select [USB-A] or [USB-B], depending on which the cable is connected, from the [SOURCE] switch in the sampler section of DDJ-RZ.

Unfortunately not - if I understand correctly, they're generated sounds and not actually samples. Sorry.

Thanks for the response. The reason i was under the impression you could or will be able to with the release of the FX pack was i saw the following on the Pioneer website when the new controllers where introduced.

    The DDJ-RZ features an oscillator sampler, which allows you to overlay four pre-set sounds – Noise, Sine, Siren and Horn – and modulate the output using the dial. Or you can load your own sounds to the banks in rekordbox dj.

KEY FEATURES

  • Sound Colour FX: the DDJ-RZ’s four FX buttons are pre-set to Space, Jet, Pitch and Filter, while the DDJ-RX’s will trigger Noise, Crush, Pitch and Filter. An FX Plus Pack will be available to buy in the future, allowing you to customise your FX buttons.

I saw it in the official Pioneer intro video, mentioned specifically for the OSC sampler and not the pad sampler ...

Did anyone find this out?  I'm still trying to figure everything out, but want to put some custom shots into the OSC Sampler instead of the tired horn, siren, etc.  Thx

Still can't find out how to ADD CUSTOM SAMPLES to one shots on ddj rzx on rekordbox 5.0.2
