Please be sure you're using a drive formatted in FAT32 or HFS+ and have set the boot sector to Master Boot Record in order for it to be recognized by the player.

XDJ freezing issues
My XDJ RX recently has freezing problem. The song doesn’t play when I hit play button but the color of the jog wheel is changed to playing color. Sometime it works and freezes again after 10 15 minutes playing. I tried to update firmware, and it said update firmware completed when the percentage is still 0. I need a solution for this. Thank you!

I'm having a similar issue with my rx2 (see my recent post). It isn't letting me update the firmware at all and get's stuck on the ”Connect USB storage device into top USB1 port.” screen.

Just wanted to leave a comment not post a whole new one, i have a 6 month old RR which has frozen up on several occasions, not enough to be a major problem but enough to be on my mind if im going to go out w it: i always keep an eye on file types quality length type of drive how long ie been going, one culprit was having an mp4 mixed in w my 3s and that did it, but after it still froze up here and there, my brothers cdj 900s have never froze up and theyre like 20 yrs old take care
