New Macbook - The files not able to be found

I am (also) unable to solve a solved problem.

I've bought a new macbook pro and had a timemachine backup reloaded from my old macbook. iTunes and the all my music is on the new macbook, but when i open Rekorbox all the files are missing.

I've tried to relocate them, but all the music files is located in separate folders in the itunes/music folder. When I click into the folders the music files is grey and not selectable.

I also followed this guide (https://forums.pioneerdj.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/203069669--SOLVED-Rekordbox-Can-not-create-the-analysis-file-in-the-folder-specified) but at the last step I wasnt able to open the rekordbox3.settings file ??

I really hope someone can help me! Have a gig tomorrow!

Thank you

Are you using the search function to locate those files? If so, you'll need to do a "quick look" (highlight the file, press the spacebar) before you can select it.

No, the songs are there, but they have this orange exclamation mark behind it.

Also when I try to refresh the iTunes symbol nothing happens.

When i end up in a situation like this, i rather start over then ripping my hair.

IF you have multiple computers you cut down on the workload on analyzing and editing files.

Ive lost count on how many times RBX have failed on me so i made my own system and it works. If the manual don't give you any help or make you stay in the same spot. Work yourself around it.

And before you comment anything let me ad that i have a EXTENSIVE collection of music and i mean HUGE. So if i can do it anybody else can.

Keep the faith!

@Adiele > The issue is that you have a different username causing the issue between your settings file, the database, and the actual location of your audio files.

Try this first.
