[CLOSED] DJM-2000 update ?

After spending 6k plus dollars on my full 2000 set up I'm just wondering if we are going to see some kind of update

for the DJM-200 ?

I know we touched base on this subject before the forums got switched but I wanted to jump back to it and

see if there has been any progress in the matter.

I know a lot of us have already expressed our concerns about spending all this money and just to get out done

by the DJM-900.

Thanks to all the Pioneer Admins and Support I appreciate your time and efforts in all the Pioneer dj matters.

Thanks - Bill

I just hope it's worth waiting.

Maby more features than only Quantized Effects for perfect beat synched effecting, new reverb and improved BPM accuracy.

Maby tractor certified , new effects like melodic,  improved sidechaining effects ,... we will see i guess :p

And demit I am on holiday now!!! xD

Having most DJM-2000 owners/users asking for the firmware update in mid July just like Pioneer stated is taken as a surprise by some when it really shouldn't be. People at Pioneer should have expected this result with the answer remaining for the firmware release. It was nice for Pioneer to announce the firmware update to calm us DJM-2000 owners down by giving us a round about date but maybe by now a exact release date can be given. People would be more patient instead of being so eager and asking daily. Calculating times (testing in house, dry run, checking for errors, re-editing/programming,other mishaps) with the firmware should be usually be taken into account with time frames in most professional work environments. For the Pioneer "professionals" lets keep it at that and just state an exact release date for the firmware update if it is taking longer than expected for everyone's sake.

P.S. This is meant to be taken in a good, friendly way and lets keep it that way, thanks.

Relax guys. They are working as hard as they can on this update for everyone. It will be released this coming week.

in the meantime, try to put your efforts to much better distractions; such as seeing how many times you can say "Are we there yet?" before the words don't make any sense.

Are we there yet?

Foster .... .... they will release it when they are ready and 1 million "are we there yets" wont make a difference whether it makes sense or not!!

One thing I hope to see is bpm information from cdj to djm display, so that its always correct.. I guess I will find out soon :)

@DJ Firmwar3 thats a good idea , and lets hope it shows decimal too (yes i know you already can do this but why doesent it always?) i find it strange that some tracks have 128,78 bpm in rekordbox, its either very accurate or sometimes very slightly inaccurate ..
