[CLOSED] DJM-2000 update ?
After spending 6k plus dollars on my full 2000 set up I'm just wondering if we are going to see some kind of update
for the DJM-200 ?
I know we touched base on this subject before the forums got switched but I wanted to jump back to it and
see if there has been any progress in the matter.
I know a lot of us have already expressed our concerns about spending all this money and just to get out done
by the DJM-900.
Thanks to all the Pioneer Admins and Support I appreciate your time and efforts in all the Pioneer dj matters.

Wow - after the 900Nexus was anounced, most of us were in trouble, cause the 900 has a quantize-function and the DJM-2000 don't.
Now, we get this feature for the DJM-2000 and three additionally functions and it seems not to be enough at this step :-/
Well - I'm surprised that none criticise, that there's no Tetris-Game integrated for using by touchscreen!?!??
Well - I am happy about the upcomming firmware and hope that the Engeneers will make more nice features availiable in the future ;-)

This is called sales management tactics! You see it in it's perfection by apple! You have to wait, because the product "is something" better, so you have to fit, not the product.
Everytime a new iPhone arrives all of them are saled, but that there were just 400 at the beginning, no one was talking about!
Same with the DJM 2000! Some of us have to wait nearly half a year to get one...
I personally think, this sucks!!! For me it is f*** up not to serve the costumers in time!!!

@Xador > Its not a sales tactic - Pioneer does not have the same mass appeal as a company like Apple that produce general electronic goods items. Pioneer produces items for a specific target market. We only wish we could have every DJ using all Pioneer gear and wish we had production runs to meet demand. An unlimited supply of labour would also help.
Unfortunately, the business world being that it is, Pioneer did its best to give an estimate of when an update could be ready and, in turn, setting a deadline for itself.
