7) Have you scanned your files for errors: N/A
8) Is rekordbox crashing at all: Yes
8a) If crashing, is it resulting in: Both (error message and a crash log)
9) Are you able to repeat / reproduce the problem: Yes
9a) If yes, can you do it consistently: Yes
10) Does the problem occur with one specific song: No
11) Any other notes regarding your setup only: No
12) Provide as much detail of the issue here:
I downloaded and installed Rekordbox v4.0.1 but I can't get it to work. Every time it crashes and displays the following message: "Unexpected application error". And the it opens the folder "C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Pioneer\rekordbox\Crashes" and creates a .dmp file.
I still have Rekordbox 3.3.0 installed and its working correctly.

Could you please update your video driver according to the FAQ?

https://rekordbox.com/en/support/faq.php?c=172

Please refer to "rekordbox closes soon after the application is launched.".

Please note that you should download the latest video driver from its manufacturer, not via Windows update.

If you still have crash even after updating your video driver, please send us the crash dump via our ticket system.

Regards,

Yes, I installed v4.0.2 when it was released, that one didn't crushed but the player wasn't working.  So I was told to go to Preferences / View / Waveform drawing rate and set it to "Low Speed"
