Just got this controller yesterday. Fully updated macbook pro. Having issues with everything from rekordbox to the controller to the audio output. My numark ns7 worked fine with serato.

Help gig in 48 hours!!!!

Why do I have to make an inquiry? Can't you just tell me how to fix it right here for everyone to see????

Or should I revert back to numark and serato because they wouldn't require all this extra hoopla?

I'm having this very same problem, did you get it resolved?

i have a very expensive paperweight right now and am pretty disappointed in pioneers help.

Disappointed in Pioneer's help?? I'm helping you here in a topic, trying to get some information to assist you, and I see you have also filed a ticket and Roel is assisting you. You've currently got TWO people helping you, both of us have provided a response in under 6 hours, and you say we're disappointing you?

Sorry you are taking offence to something that isn't you. I have been on the phone to pioneer tech and they told me to raise a ticket and post in the REKORDBOX forum so I did!

And disappointed yes actually a little not in you thank you for your help but I have paid £1600 for a premium product which is my livelyhood when it doesn't work I don't get paid and sorry but when I phone tech advice and are told to post and sit about waiting on a reply that wasn't the service I expected from the market leader!

As for closing the posts I'm sorry maybe I have the wrong idea about this forum I thought the point in posting was to get different points of view and maybe people would have different inputs!

Appologies

@Nick > It's frustrating when I'm trying to provide assistance to a user and I find out that they've later gone down another avenue to try and seek assistance - it feels like my efforts are not valued and that they've gone behind my back to try and find someone who may know something more than I do. We're all connected to the same support network on the website, and we work together to provide solutions for the customers. I understand you want something to work properly no matter how much you paid for it and we're here to assist with that.

The other posts were closed to try and consolidate the efforts; cross-posting doesn't help us provide a concise support solution.

To answer to the images you've posted in your ticket, what I noticed is that the RZ isn't necessarily being loaded as a proper MIDI device. If you scroll to the bottom of the Audio page in the rekordbox preferences, do you see the DDJ-RZ listed under Control Device Information?

When you reinstalled the drivers, did you have the device disconnected and did you run the uninstaller first, rebooting between unintsall/reinstall?

appologies for any offence caused in that case.

yes the ddj-rz shows up in control device information in rekord box preferences. it also shows as connected in the setup utility in the pioneer folder in applications. but no matter what just doesnt seem to load the midi address parameters in the the midi menu.
i have so far ran the uninstaller and carried out reboot with the device disconnected then reinstalled drivers in both osx mavericks and yosemite

and also tried deleting rekordbox and reinstalling in both osx's with no luck.

i last night updated the osx to el capitan and will try the process again when i get home earlier.

if unsucessful is it possible to just import the midi assignments using the midi menu?
