RekordBox DJ / DDJ RX - Very hard filter (Low Pass)

Hi all,

I have a question regarding the filter function on RekordBox. Since I don't know if the filter effect is hardware or software based I just placed it here.

However, when I use the filter to Low Pass, the bass becomes reeeeaaaly loud. Like really loud. I've tried the same on the XDJ-RX, but it does it with much more "suplesse".

It's been that way since the beginning and I tested it on KRK Rokit 5 at home and EV's at some bigger parties, but both the same result.

Is anyone experiencing the same and is this a software or a hardware thing? I don't mind it that much, but it really is kinda too loud if you know what I mean.
