Serious Problem XDJ-RX3

Hello,

I have bought the new Pioneer xdj rx3. On my first gig with this controller all in one, after 5 hours using it the pioneer was completely freeze. 

On the main screen, it was a circle button saying wait, but nothing happens. The audio was interrupt, so embarrased moment.

I pushed the power button, but the controller was also with voltage until I dont pull out the voltage power, the controller didnt shut down completely.

The firmware version is V1.00 and I was two Sandisk Extreme Pro 128Gb.

I have contact with the technical support here in Spain, but nobody knows about this problem. 

Please help, I have been waiting for the arrival of this controller several months since I bought it, due to lack of stock and now that I have it, it doesnt work properly. I need a solution please.

@Juan > You can file a support ticket here and our engineers can gather some additional information to assist you with any freezing or slow response if the firmware update doesn't resolve it.

1. update to FW1.11, you are a few behind and some of the freezing issues have been fixed but not all

2. Yes, this has been reported a bunch of times around this forum and the FB group. If you search XDJ-RX3 and words like issues, bugs, freeze, you will see a few discussions on it

Hoping the next update finally fixing them, for now i run my laptop headphone out to an external mixer so if the RX3 does freeze, i can simply drop a track onto the external mixer so i can reboot the controller

I am disappointed after making a big investment in a new controller from pioneer and having so many problems.

The end user should not be the one to perform the beta tester task, it's embarrassing to be in the middle of a performance and the sound stops. In addition to the loss of reputation and trust of the company that hires you as a DJ.

I recorded a video of the failure and I will send to pioneer engineers.

I expect a quickly and professional solution from pioneer.

Hello,

I update this post with the lastest news.

After sending the video to pioneer, they told me that this type of issue it was going to be fixed with the latest 1.12 update.

After updating and testing these days, the freezing problems, sound stops problems continues.

It is so embarrasing being dijing on live and having this type of frozen issues.

I have also experienced severals "emergency loops" even without touching the controller.

The usbs that I use (Sandisk Extreme Pro 128Gb) works perfectly in others xdj controllers and cdj players.

As final users who pay for a final proffesional dj product, we should not be the ones doing the work of beta tester.

I hope pioneer gives a solution to this problem as soon as possible.
