Samsung 1TB T7 SSD - compatibility

Hi,

I'm looking to get a Samsung 1TB T7 SSD to store my database and tracks and also sync my playlists onto it instead of using USB sticks. I've been reading online and on the forum here and I came to the conclusion that it might be the best option. The T5 has been recommended to other users on the forum by Pioneer support.

A user on the forum (see link below) seem to have had compatibility issues with the T7 though. Has anyone at Pioneer had a chance to test this on different players and could confirm that this is gonna work in clubs on older players?

Thanks

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee which USB drive works. Possibly the same model works in our environment, but it may not work in your environment coincidentally, or maybe because of minor change of the parts on the USB drive.

Ok so what is one supposed to do to get a drive and be sure that it's gonna work at the club? I'm a bit confused here, it sounds like you're saying that you never know, it might just not work randomly.

I would recommend formatting any drive to FAT32 and test it out before, just in case.

Most drives should work as long as they are FAT32.
