I have to reinstall Rekordbox everytime I want to use it!

Hi there,

I'm totally fed up, for the past few months I have had to re-install Rekordbox EVERY SINGLE TIME I want to use my DDJ-RB. Ocassionally if I close and reopen the program a ferw times it may work, but it's gotten to the point where I just can't be bothered to mix anymore because it is such a hassle.

I've installed every new update and hoped it will change but it doesn't, scanned these forums for answers and the only thing that seems to work is a complete reinstall of the software. Do I have a faulty controller? Can someone please help? I'm running a 6 month old laptop with Win10 with more than enough juice to run things, I'm just at a loss as to what I should do!

As mentioned I use Win10. The problem is that I have to do this every single time I reconnect to my controller, are you suggesting that I should perform these steps every time I plug in? I wouldn't say that is fixing the issue..

@Sam > Have you ensured that all of your Windows updates are installed as well?

What are your PC specs?

Yes everything is up to date.. specs are Core i5-6200U, 8GB RAM, WIn10, basically more than enough for the software.
