Record box crashes: "unexpected application error".

Hi,

when I connect my (normally fine working) USB Stick to my computer and open rekordbox, it crashes immediately and says: "unexpected application error".

I uploaded the crash report right here: http://www77.zippyshare.com/v/VT3fIfTj/file.html

Thanks,
F

Dear Friedrich,
According to the crash report, the database files in your USB Stick are unfortunately broken.
Broken database files cause application to crash.
We have no fix for the broken database file currently.
Before starting rekordbox, connect your USB Stick to your PC or Mac, and delete a folder named "PIONEER" which includes database files, using Finder or Explorer.

Thanks for the fast answer. Thats sad to hear... I was wondering, if there are files on the USB Stick for the playlists I created? In some way there have to be or am I wrong? Isn't there a way to save those Playlist files, to recreate them on a new USB Stick or something like that?

Thanks,
Friedrich

Hello Friedrich,

Sorry for late update.

Could you please send us the database files in your USB Stick if you still have them?
We'll see if there is anything we can do for your playlists.

The database files are in the folder below.
/[volume name]/PIONEER/rekodrbox
Please compress the folder and send it to us.

By the way, all songs you have exported to the usb sitck remains independently in the folder below, even if database files are broken.
/[volume name]/PIONEER/Contents

@Friedrich > Can I direct you to use a ticket to send the engineers your data file? You can create a ticket here, and be sure to include a link back to this question for reference. Thanks!
